Finding The Perfect Mother’s Day Gift, For The Mom Who Has It All With Upblend Outdoors

Making sure your mom feels special, especially on days like Mother’s Day can be so hard. My mom has everything she wants. She doesn’t need anything. All my mom asks for is simply for her kids to reach out and wish her a “Happy Mother’s Day.” She isn’t hard to please at all.

Now, a little background on my fantastic mom. Growing up, I watched as my mom went from a stay at home mom, to a hard working mom. In a business that was basically dominated by men, my mom went a showed that she could do it, and do it beautifully. My whole life she has showed me what hard work actually gets you. Proving to me that hard work is completely worth it.

Another great thing my mom always taught me is to be compassionate for others. She is such a stand up lady. Always being patient with me, even when I was a rambling five year old. I know now how she felt, because I have a rambling four year old son. She likes to refer to him as my “payback child.” She isn’t wrong.

Growing up, we lived on a nice private lake. Not many people would be out on the lake, just a few fishermen. Kids would take boats out to the middle to go swimming. My mom had boats for us growing up that we could take out and explore the water. Since all the kids have moved out, and they became empty nesters, my parents bought a pontoon. Which they don’t use all that much, I am sure it was for the kids. My mom also starting going kayaking with a few of her neighbors.

My mom and her friends started out by taking small children’s toys and posing them out around the lake for pictures. Including at one time, my boys little people super hero’s. This has been going on for a couple of years now. This has now become a thing among the different families on the lake. They now even have their own facebook group for their hide and seek game. All my mom has been really wanting are some new treasures to hide around the lake.

With social distancing being the new thing, I am unable to give my mom her new Norm the Gnome from Upblend Outdoors right now. But I already did show her a picture, as I was unable to wait. My mom’s lake has these awesome little coves in them. You can’t get to them by boats with motors. I don’t even know if you could take something like a paddle boat back there. I have only been around them a few times, but they are the best for capturing beautiful pictures. Which my mom seems to be the best at.

When she saw Norm, and I asked her if he would make a good addition to her lake gnomes. She responded by telling me, he is to cute to stay on the lake. She will be moving him around much more then her others. I personally can not wait for pictures of Norm hanging out by the lake.

Upblend Outdoors also sent out this beautiful wind chime. This sounds so much better then many I have had in the past, and has become a new staple on my front porch. While social distancing, we have had a lot more foot traffic through my neighborhood. When our wind chime is playing it’s own beautiful tunes, I have received so many compliments. This is not high pitched at all, this is the kind that will not just sound pleasing to you as a wind chime lover, but your neighbors won’t mind hearing it as well on a windy day. This silver kindness chime comes with a stone with an inspirational saying on it. Mine said, “Actually, you can.”

This would make a fantastic Mother’s Day gift as well to any mom, especially the ones who have everything!
