Where are my nail lovers at? I used to get my nails done every two weeks, like clock work. When we started fertility treatments, stopping my nail routine was an easy way to save money. I missed having pretty nails, and having that little bit of pampering time. Peppi Gel is an at home dip powder which allows you to do to your nails at home, and have salon results!
Peppi sent me over their starter kit with one dip powder in cuddle weather. Cuddle weather is a deep dark blue with specks of glitter in it. Peppi Gel has so many dip colors. I am talking over a hundred colors. Glitters, glow in the dark, light, dark, seasonal, ect. I have a new goal to collect every color they make, it make take some time, but I will have them all one day.
I was intimidated in the beginning. How could I do my nails the way a salon can? Doing your own dip powder is actually way easier than I thought it would be. Simply follow the steps you’ll have salon quality nails in no time.
Step one is prepping your nails, wash your hands, push your cuticles back and wipe each nail with acetone. Next take step 1 liquid and paint your nails. After you paint each nail, dip your nail into the powder. Then repeat painting and dipping each nail. You will do 2-3 layers of liquid and dip powder before moving on to step two. Step two is easy, use liquid number 2. Once your nails are cured, then you buff and file your heart out. This step does take a little bit of time. The slower and more you file and buff, the better your nails will turn out.
The last step is the shiny top coat. Paint your nails one more time with liquid number 3. That is it. Salon quality nails, in 3 simple steps. My first attempt was far from perfect, but it also wasn’t the worst manicure I’ve given myself! If you are a nail fanatic like me, head to Peppi Gel HERE and order some for yourself.
