HiNOTE IS THE FIRST PLATFORM TO CONNECT CONSUMERS WITH EXCLUSIVE

MUSICAL ARTISTS FOR PERSONALIZED MUSIC VIDEOS

New music-first platform poised to help music lovers celebrate Valentine’s Day with custom video messages and a song from their favorite artists

LOS ANGELES (January 25, 2020) — When you know how to say it yourself but want a high-profile assist, Mya, 3OH!3, or Wu-Tang Clan can now serenade it to someone for you. Don’t just gift it, HiNOTE it.

HiNOTE (HiNote.it) is a new L.A.-based music-first platform that connects well-known musical talent with consumers to deliver personalized video messages and songs to loved ones. This new celebrity video service allows users to bring a favorite artist right to their friend’s inbox this Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, for birthdays and beyond. HiNOTE taps into the tradition of connecting popular songs with memorable moments at a time when most can’t attend live events and are looking for creative ways to connect with friends.

The website launched in December 2020, and currently features more than 40 artists who will take personal requests from users. New talent is being added weekly. HiNOTE currently features artists that range from Grammy Award-winners to hip-hop icons to emerging talent with loyal followings. Many of the featured songs are well-known hits from the 90s to the 2000s.

Consumers can browse a list of musical artists, ranging from Lisa Loeb to Walk Off the Earth to Montell Jordan —and request personalized video messages. Fees for the musical videos currently range between $25- $1,400, based on talent. The average cost for most artists is between $100-$200.

Popular Valentine’s Day songs include Mario’s “Let Me Love You”; Vertical Horizon “You’re a God” and Mya “Fallen,” with many more featured on HiNOTE’s homepage.

HiNOTE provides fans a new way to personally connect with their favorite artists and share emotions in a new format. It also provides another avenue for artists sidelined from performing in public to connect with their audience.

HiNOTE’s interface is easy to use. Users wishing to purchase a video message select their favorite artist and request a song for the recipient from a dropdown menu. They’ll complete a simple request form with general instructions (for example: “I want to wish my boyfriend Happy Valentine’s Day”). A few days later, the user will receive the personalized video in which the talent addresses the recipient by name and shares a brief message along with a verse and chorus of the selected song.  The sender can share the video with the recipient immediately. The videos are two minutes long, and include stripped-back, intimate messages and performances. Most of them are acoustic, at a piano, or acapella.

HiNOTE’S launch coincides with several key gifting seasons, including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day and graduation, but is ideal for birthdays or any other gifting occasion.
