Kangaroo Water + Climate Sensor

I am a big fan of Kangaroo products and their app. I have the privacy camera in my home and I can’t say enough good things about it. Today, I am going to talk about the Water + Climate Sensor.

Water sensors can be very effective in our homes in areas where there is a potential for flooding or leaking of an appliance. Having one of these devices linked to your phone can send you an immediate alert if there is a moisture issue requiring your attention in your home. Moisture damage can be minimized if we catch it early so the notifications received through the Kangaroo app are going to be a crucial part of saving your belongings from damage. As soon as the sensor gets wet, you will receive an alert. You can customize those alerts on your Kangaroo app. The thing that I think is great about the Kangaroo app is that all of your devices can be on one app and they can be viewed and managed on multiple devices. A lot of tech for the home is limited to one user or one device but Kangaroo is not!

The Climate side of the Water + Climate Sensor can be useful in several different areas of your home! You can set a custom temperature range on the app that you’d like to be notified about. For example, if you put the sensor in your living room and would like to be notified if the temperature dips below 40 degrees or above 80 degrees, you can do that. You can customize the range down to the single degree! We actually put our sensor in our nursery. The layout of our house makes it so that some rooms can be a very different temperature from others depending on things like closed/open doors, and the position of air vents. I set this up to notify me if it gets too hot or too cold in the nursery while our baby is sleeping. This just gives me a little extra peace of mind which is very important to me.

Overall, I love how user friendly cost effective all of the Kangaroo products are! They are very high quality and allow everyone to have a little extra home security and safety!
