Vices

Smoking

We all have some vices that are hard to kick and smoking is one of them. One of the best ways to start weaning yourself off of cigarettes is to try a tobacco vape. Vapes are not the healthiest alternative, but they are a good start to stepping away from the product all together. It is widely known that excessive tobacco use can cause cancers throughout the body as well as damage vital organs. Vaping reduces those risks while also helping you to quit.

Vapes come in a variety of flavors, and most people find that it is the oral satisfaction of cigarettes that is so enticing. If you have a tobacco-less vape, you can satisfy your oral fixation without ingesting the harmful chemicals of cigarettes.

Chewing Gum

Chewing gum has long been a tool in quitting smoking. Like the vape, chewing gum keeps your mouth moving and helps satisfy your need for oral movement. Chewing can easily be carried around with you and with a sugarless variety, you can also keep your mouth and teeth safe from the harmful effects of sugar.

Alcohol

Some people need to renegotiate their relationship with alcohol. Not that you have a drinking problem, but you may want a healthy alternative when enjoying cocktails with friends. Drinking clear liquors with club soda or water reduces sugar and carb intake and may prevent you from having a hangover. Non-alcoholic options are available if you simply want the taste of a drink or a beer, but want to interact the same as your friends who are drinking. Flavored seltzers or flavored hard seltzers are also a lighter alternative when enjoying time with friends. Stay away from dark liquors as they contain more sugar which is unhealthy and may cause you to dehydrate faster and have a bigger hangover.
