HIGHOH Reusable Sanitary Pads

The reusable menstrual product market is definitely one that is growing very quickly right now. The numbers of pads, tampons, and other menstrual items that end up in landfills every day, week, and year are absolutely staggering. These products take quite awhile to decompose and are taking a huge toll on our environment. On top of the environmental impact of these products, many of them are not very healthy for our bodies. A lot of these disposable menstrual product companies do not have to disclose all of the ingredients in their products and when you think about it, that is terrifying! As a result if this, companies like HighOh have been growing exponentially!

HighOh is a sister owned company that makes a variety of reusable pads and pantyliners. I have had the chance to try two different sizes of the pads, the overnight kit and the period starter kit. Both of the kits come with storage pouches. The pads are definitely high quality. The topside of the pads are made of a soft plush like material and on the back, there is an adjustable snap mechanism that allows you to fasten them around your preferred panties. The overnight pads are very long and will ensure that there is no leakage on your heavy flow days or overnight when you aren’t using the restroom as frequently as you are during the day. The period starter kit size is perfect for everyday period protection. They are all very comfortable and easy to wear!

As far as being reusable, the HighOh pads are very easy to clean. I washed mine in the washing machine on a cold cycle and then laid them flat to dry. They came out perfectly! I would definitely recommend these pads for those of you looking for a healthier and more environmentally friendly alternative to disposable pads and panty liners! HighOh gives you a great value for your money and their customer service team can’t be beat!
