Drinking for Two

Drinking for Two is an absolutely adorable book of mocktail recipes for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive. The book is the perfect gift for moms to be and is full of recipes that are delicious but also nutritious for mom and baby.

When I first received this book, I was in love with the cover. It is so cute! It is a cocktail glass made to look like a baby carriage. What a fun gift! I think that this is such a fun concept for girls night. Having a cocktail to craft for yourself or others that is nonalcoholic can really add to your get togethers with friends! A great addition to many of these cocktails is honey from the Gold Bee’s Store. Being raw honey, it has many health benefits that can be great while trying new cocktails.

A lot of mocktail recipes are just regular cocktail recipes minus the alcohol but these are not. These are specifically created with pregnancy and breastfeeding in mind and have some important nutritional value for both mom and baby which I think is great! We all know that nutrition during pregnancy is crucial so it is great to have something so fun help with that nutrition as well.

Flipping through this book, you will find lots of creative cocktails with great photos to show you exactly what your end result should look like! The recipes vary from simple to more involved depending on the ingredients you have on hand. Regardless of your taste, you are sure to find something for everyone in this book!

I had a chance to make a handful of these recipes and I loved them all! My husband had to admit that he liked them too despite feeling that the book wasn’t for him from the title. On that note, I think that this book really can be great for couples! You aren’t the only one on this journey; often times our partners want to support our journey so this book would be a fun addition to date night!
